Companies require business valuations for a range of purposes which include mergers & acquisitions, annual ESOP valuations, asset & intangible measurement for tax purposes, and ownership/management review. Many times, a formal valuation is often a strategic and educational first step taken by business owners to help make an informed decision regarding a sale, partial sale, or other transaction configuration.
We partner with Houlihan Valuation Advisors for all Business Valuations. The McKelvey Group handles the collection of data, due diligence, and draft valuation preparation tasks. Houlihan’s ASA (American Society of Appraisers) certified experts take this initial information and create a valuation opinion, prepared in conformity with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices.
